Der PROFUEL Zellstoff C-400 enthält als primären Wirkstoff ein Extrakt der Amla-Beere (Phyllanthus emblica), einer in der Ayurveda Heilkunst sehr beliebten Pflanze. Die Amla-Frucht ist extrem reichhaltig an natürlichem Vitamin C - zwischen 20 bis 30 mal mehr pro Kg als eine Orange um genau zu sein. Durch ein schonendes Verfahren wird aus der Amla-Beere das natürliche Vitamin C gewonnen und angereichert. So liefert ein Gramm des Amla-Extraktes mindestens 500mg an natürlichem Vitamin C, was für ein reines Naturprodukt die absolute Spitzenklasse darstellt. Neben der natürlichen Ascorbinsäure enthält das gewonnene Extrakt auch die sekundären Pflanzenstoffe wie Bioflavonide und Tannine der Amla-Frucht.
Um die antioxidative Kraft des PROFUEL Zellstoff C-400 zu verstärken wurde als zweiter Wirkstoff das Traubenkernextrakt gewählt. Traubenkerne enthalten sogenannte Oligomere Proantocyanidine (OPC) - eine der stärksten natürlichen Antioxidantien überhaupt. Da das Vitamin C und das OPC aus dem Traubenkernextrakt ihre antioxidative Wirkung im Körper gegenseitig verstärken, sollten beide stets zusammen eingenommen werden.
